Rebel Spirit Ramblings!
Welcome to the first official blog for Rebel Spirit Music, “a community and a network for fans, artists and industry professionals where each can learn, meet and grow together.” Here’s a place to chat for a bit about what’s going on, who’s becoming a big deal, who’s new to the scene, and all that fun gossip that happens on the streets and in the venues. Pictures will be posted, videos will be shared, and insight will be offered on a weekly basis, keeping all you music lovers and supporters in the loop.
This week the team at Rebel Spirit is eagerly anticipating next week’s October Series, featuring Martin Rivas, Layah Jane, Chris Batten & the Woods, and Jefferson Hamer. We are also planning a BIG party for CMJ on October 24 (details to come) and working on a brand new website that will offer even more services and industry connections. The best part of Rebel Spirit is that we not only understand, respect and promote artists, but we are also artists ourselves, so we know what it takes to fulfill your needs.
Basically, we get it. So if you’re not following us on twitter, myspace, tumblr, or facebook, then start. It’s 2009 for goodness sake. Time to take in a healthy dose of social networking.
